Bon jour~Wow~~~I'm finally 57 and I had a "FABULOUS" day!! Roger and I celebrated up in Big Bear. We went out to breakfast and then met our friend, Nancy, at church.
All three of us went to my favorite "Tea House" in Big Bear. Bob, Nancy's hubby, was out of state, so he missed out on all of the fun. The food and tea was delicious, as usual, and then Pat & her hubby presented me with a delicious pina colada cake while everyone sang "Happy Birthday".
Next we went over to Nancy's house where we had our "just desserts" as she called it. Nancy always sets such a nice table. This time she did a "tea party" theme. Her homemade caramel Birthday cake was delicious!! Thanks, Nancy! I'll post pictures soon, gotta get them off of my hubby's phone first!
What a Birthday present I got today!!! My sister was born on 9/11, sometime's she feels it's a hard day to celebrate your birthday on. Then, tonight, when Roger and I were watching TV, they interrupted the program to say Osama Bin Laden was dead. Thank, goodness the mastermind of that horrible day today has finally been brought to justice. What a coincidence that he died on my Birthday. So....I feel I have a lot to celebrate today!
Ok.......lot's has been going on in my life so I'm just now getting back to blogging. So......this post should have been published on May 1st.
